Ashley Comans currently serves as a School Board Director for the Wilkinsburg School District since December 2017.

In addition to serving the Wilkinsburg School Board, Ashley works as a Project Coordinator for the Hill Youth Partnership for Enrichment (HYPE) - a system building initiative through the Allegheny Partners for Out if School Time (APOST). She’s a board member for Circles Greater Pittsburgh, Chatham University’s Eden Hall K-12 advisory board, and volunteers for The United Way’s – Be A Middle School Mentor program.

Brandi Fisher is the President and CEO of the Alliance for Police Accountability. She works to end racial profiling, police brutality, and injustice in our communities. She resides in Penn Hills.

Jonathan Mayo is a member of Bend the Arc: Pittsburgh's Steering Committee. He has previously served on Summer Lee's campaign committee and worked on many other area elections. He served as vice president of the Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network for four years. He lives in Squirrel Hill with his wife, Sara, and his two children, Ziv and Elena.

Lisa Frank is Executive Vice President and Director of Strategic Campaigns at SEIU Healthcare. She thinks our really huge investment in healthcare should result in really excellent health, for every person in our community. Only a small part of our overall health is determined by the care we receive in the healthcare system. Good wages, healthy food, clean air and water, freedom from stress, and community inclusion are all a part of the story. But our healthcare system needs massive change, to make sure we all have access, that we’re focused on the most needed care, not the most lucrative care, and that adequate staffing, culturally competent caregiving, and equitable health outcomes are our healthcare priorities.

Monica Ruiz is the Executive Director at Casa San José. Monica has been working with the Latino community for over 15 years. She started at Casa San José as the Service Coordinator for ISAC (Immigrant Services and Connections). Previously, Monica worked for Catholic Charities as a Chemical Dependency/Mental Health Case Manager with Latino youth and as an Employment and Training Case Manager.

Terri Minor Spencer is a celebrated community activist in Pittsburgh who has dedicated herself to elevating her community. Terri is the founder and President of Westend P.O.W.E.R., a grassroots nonprofit committee focused on addressing community needs and concerns, as well as director of community engagement for White Lily Baptist Church, and a member of the Democratic Committee for Pittsburgh Ward 20, District 12. Terri currently works as a Family Engagement Specialist at Amachi Pittsburgh.

Wasiullah (Wasi) Mohamed is a life-long Pennsylvania resident. He was born in Harrisburg, raised in Enola, and moved to Pittsburgh in 2011 to attend the University of Pittsburgh.

During his time at the University of Pittsburgh, Wasi served in the leadership of many campus-wide organizations and initiatives, most notably he spent his four years helping to build the Office of PittServes, an arm of the Division of Student Affairs meant to ensure Pitt has a lasting positive impact on the local community while students grow from relationships and experiences with our neighbors.
